Hero MotoCorp, India’s largest motorcycle manufacturer, on August 2 increased the price of the Harley Davidson X440 from Rs 10,500 to Rs 239,500.
The price increase will now apply to all variants, the company said in a statement. However, this bike is available at the current introductory price of Rs 2,29,000 until August 3.
The two-wheeler manufacturer offers the ability to reserve bicycles online. Customers can book the car online with a reservation amount of Rs 5,000. Commenting on the revised pricing, Niranjan Gupta, President and CEO of Hero MotoCorp, said, “Since its launch, the Harley-Davidson X440 has generated tremendous excitement in the industry. We launched it at an introductory price of Rs 2,29,000. We are now announcing the new rates that will be applied to the next online booking window. The current online booking window with introductory prices ends August 3. This is a great opportunity to take advantage and own a Harley-Davidson.
Hero MotoCorp will begin production of the Harley-Davidson X440 in September at the company’s Garden Plant in Neemrana, Rajasthan. The company will begin delivering bicycles to customers in October.
