Meta Platforms is working on a new artificial intelligence system expected to be as powerful as the most advanced model powered by OpenAI, the Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday, citing people familiar with the matter. This.

The report adds that Meta plans to start training the new AI system, called the Large Language Model, in early 2024. Meta did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment.
