M&M falls on decision to inspect more than 1 lakh XUV units

Shares of Mahindra and Mahindra Limited (M&M) fell more than 1% to Rs 1,536 in early trading on August 21 after the company announced it would test a select number of XUV cars, including more than 1.08 thousand XUV700 and 3,560 XUV. its EV XUV400 crossover.

In December last year, M&M issued a recall order totaling 6,618 Scorpio-Ns and 12,566 XUV700s. These vehicles were manufactured between July 1 and November 11, 2022.
